Parental alienation has occurred with the child as the instrument of destruction against the targeted parent. The threat is real against the people we need to protect the most, our children. A father or mother who needs to ‘prove’ to their child or children that the other spouse is ‘bad’, or ‘mentally ill’ will have lasting long effects on the children. Using the children to justify a husband or wife to leave the other person is disgusting and shallow. They have no respect for themselves and “have” to use the children to justify their means of escape. Making the other spouse the bad person is the easiest thing they can do.
